Theme Submission Guidelines

Requirements and process for submitting custom themes to lyrdy/uptime
Before submitting your theme, please ensure it adheres to all the guidelines listed below. Non-compliant themes will be rejected.

Theme Requirements

  • No Modifications to Core Files: Your theme must not modify uptimematrix.js or any other core system files. All customizations should be contained within the theme files only.
  • Safe for Work Content: Your theme must not contain NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content, including but not limited to explicit imagery, inappropriate language, or adult themes.
  • Legal Compliance: Your theme must follow all copyright & trademark laws and regulations. Do not use copyrighted materials, logos, or trademarked content without proper authorization.
  • Open source: Your theme must be licensed under MIT or GPL. This requirement has been removed in uptimematrix.js 3 | You still may not obfuscate any code.
  • Compatibility: Your theme must work on at least 1 modern major release of uptimematrix.js
  • Policy Adherence: Your theme must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.

How to Submit Your Theme

  1. Visit our forums at https://forum.layeredy.com/forums/requests/
  2. Create a new post with the prefix "Uptime" in the title
  3. Include the following information:
    • Theme name
    • Brief description
    • Tagline
    • Screenshots of your theme
    • Download link or attachment with your theme files
Review Timeline: Our team will review your submission and respond within 7 days. You'll be notified if your theme is approved or if any changes are required.
